Hi, my name’s John. That's me in the middle working hard!

I work with the Treat Me Right! project as a trainer, teaching health professionals in all sorts of places. I tell them about my experiences of using hospitals and how they can make sure things are better for people with learning disabilities and their carers.

I recently became a health rep for Ealing Partners Power Group, where I speak up on behalf of the many people who have learning disabilities in Ealing. We are working on a project with GP’s in Ealing which is very exciting. I hope we can expand the project into others areas and maybe help other places to do some of the good work we are doing.

This picture is of me putting the information folders together with my friends – it took ages!
I’m really looking forward to seeing even more changes.
