My Time
An exciting new initiative called My Time has been launched at the Activity and Resource Centre. My Time is an innovative day opportunities programme aimed at young people aged between 18 and 25.
People who access My Time will be offered support when and where they need it in order to enable them to achieve their dreams and have fun. My Time will not be a “for life service”, but rather will act as a conduit to enable people to access everyday opportunities such as employment, college etc. that are currently denied them.
The only criteria for people to access My time is that they are between 18 and 25 years of age and are in receipt of funding from Social Services, usually Direct Payments and ILF.
Once people have been assessed to join My Time and funding confirmation has been received, each person will undertake an individual timetable of activities such as accessing community facilities, swimming, skill development of life skills and computers skills etc.
