The Options Group

The Options Group is a group of users of our learning disability services. They take part in staff induction, have been trained as Quality Checkers, plan events, and are consulted about various aspects of what we plan to do.

I carry out induction training with Nigel. I live with seven other people which I really like. Having a planning book and paying my rent is important to me.

I like living where I live. I also like working. I am new to the Options Group.

My family is really important to me - I have just been on holiday to see my mum. I stayed in a big hotel. I like speaking up and being part of the Options Group, I also like college.

I like the Options Group and setting the agenda. I like working - at the moment I am getting experience in different kinds of jobs. I have just done work experience at Sandbanks in Bedfont.
